Rooms is an IRC chat room client for the iPhone that allows you to connect to whichever IRC server that you like. It has plenty of settings, it will actually allow you to disable auto lock and make sure that it does not go to sleep if you are not active on it. It can populate with one server, it gives you Quake now to start off with and it does not give you a lot of options in there. You can set your nick name which we are going to set AppVee in this demo but once you are in there, you really do not have a lot of options on Quake now so I recommend if you do not know anything about IRC to search up a little bit about it first before downloading this app.
You end up in the main chat room when you start out on Quake net and there is usually nobody in there. You will see a lot of people that have room user as their name that means they are using the same app and they are defaulting in there. You can type, there are a few bots in here but unless you know another server you are going to wind up doing nothing else but talking to yourself. It is an intensive client so you could probably use over edge as well and it is definitely a great step in the right direction.
