This review of FlyCast is brought to you by AppVee.com. FlyCast is another app for the iPhone that allows you to listen to internet radio. The database that it pulls it through is from SHOUTcast and it is definitely something that you should register for. The sound and processes on that is not difficult and what it does is it allows you to log in to FlyCast on your computer and view the same favorite stations that you have on your iPhone and vice versa. This makes a really great --. Now one thing that I want you to keep an eye on while we are going to this review is the buffered speed. Right there, it is because I believe it is at the end of a song or a set and it is not that high but I have actually seen on WiFi it get up to over 15 to 20 minutes.
That means that I can just disconnect from that Wi-Fi and go for a brisk walk and come back and it is still playing on that station because that is how far I had its buffered. That is a really great feature right there. Also, you can search and you can search by specific artist and find what stations play them the most. And, you can even view some of the local radio stations in your area that do, use SHOUTcast. Now, you are not going to be able to get the internet radio that you would on, say the AOL Radio app but you are still going to be able to get a lot in the local area.
Definitely, check this app out if you like the buffering aspect of it and you are looking for a new music, then you do not want to use Pandora.
