An Introduction to Feng Shui Principles

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art dating back several thousands years and in western terminology it is basically about arranging objects within a room for the purpose of creating positive change affecting the harmony within ones atmosphere as well as within ones life in general. Feng shui dates back several thousand years to ancient and the words feng shui actually mean air and water. And in ancient China, in the country side when building a structure for instance , they had to deal with the hills and valleys. In the valleys they had to deal with flooding and in the hills they had to deal with high winds thus the words feng shui, air and water.

To me, feng shui is really about having an intention and wanting change in ones life and making change so that these things happen. Some techniques to use are basically creating an intention. Writing it down is good. Visualizing your goal and then affirming it.
