Just be sure to space them out evenly on both sides. When you close it up, one side should slightly overlap the other.
All right now take out some scraps and cut two 2 inch wide strips. Fold over the sides of each strip and sew down both sides. Attach the straps to the front and back of the garment, add some flare and you are done.
Now, you do not have to worry about that guy anymore.
Male: We came across some interesting fashion on the web this week. First off, whoever said fashion and poultry do not mix obviously has not see the latest in chicken athletic wear. Urban camouflage seems to be a hot trend these days and surprisingly, it is 100% stalker approved. Then there is this bacon scarf proving that pork can not only be delicious but also stylish. Then there is not much to say about these but creepy and we are convinced that everyone needs a pair of shoe pants. That is right. These things take high tops to a whole other level.
Got something fashionably weird that you have seen, send it on over to tips@threadbanger.com.
Male: What is up thread mates, this is Chance, also know as snaviant925 and this is my first post. First of all, I would like to say that Threadbanger is an awesome website. I actually just started getting into DIY a couple of days ago and I just wanted to show you a few things. I made this. This is a hooded vest. It used to be a Tshirt. I used the seams as pockets. I got my super Nintendo remote control belt buckle. If you cannot tell that is nash from an eagle bed. Yes, that is pretty much it. Thanks. See you guys later.
Male: We found some amazing stuff over at the forms this week. Molly B posted this awesome tutorial on how to make a leather free studded belt from an old bicycle tire. Awesome.
Glittter Image 2 posted this great project taking some old beads and magically melting them into a new bracelet. Somewhat toxic but fun.
Wileyness made her first post with these crafty shirtdresses.
New member does not really know posted a plethora of pics including this fancy top she made from an old tablecloth.
Lastly, Sodenim fabulous blue are DIY socks off with this dress she made from sold old swimming tube she found. Sweet.
That is it for this week. Remember if you have anything that you have made, we want to see it. Take some pictures. Take some videos, send them in to threadbanger.com.
Female: A bit thanks to Janome for sponsoring the show. Stay tuned for future contest giveaways and more sewing machine madness.
Male: We will see you guys next week.
