The best thing to do is to buy one of this little do hickies. These was made for Volkswagens, it is a little clip that actually goes into the two little holes that you see on the hubcaps and the slide out in just like this, you see it is kind of hang in there. sometimes you could pull it off with your hand, with you finger and you just pull that off, you can get another one to go on this site, listen to the set holes on the bottom here and you could pull it off that way but some of the best way to do it is you just get a screwdriver and you stick the screwdriver in, you stick it through here, right, and then you just going to pry it up like that. And you just rub it off again, you know pride of, use the lavish from the tire pretty much and then you just pop it off.
It is probably the safest way to it, and a lot times now, when I go to my mechanic where they had to change my tires or put a set of white wall on my rims, I always bring this clip to give them to pop it off and I am there watching while they do it so I do no want my rim stripped off sometimes, people are perfectionist, if you are not too perfectionist and you do not have to worry about it but for me, I like my bugs clean so, anyway, that is a cool tip, you could buy a couple of this at a few bucks, any of the shop has them. Happy VW magazines going anyone to their shops, buy one of this sucker, I mean they are pretty easy to and pretty handy actually, I keep them on the glove box; even got the bit broken down and you need to take your tire off. So, how is that tip? Our little hubcap puller, get one of those. Take care. Of course at classicvwbugs.com.
