Video Transcript: (More)
You would create an add-on domain to point another domain to a subfolder or a subdomain of your main domain. The add-on can have its own e-mail, but does not have its own control panel.
Enter the new domain name that you would like to point.
Now enter the subdomain/directory in your account to which you would like to point the add-on.
Create a new password for the add-on domain. Make it 6-8 characters and it should not contain the domain name.
Do not forget to make the necessary DNS changes in your domain account to point to the name servers in this hosting account.
You are now able to create an addon domain in cpanel.
