With your brain, there is hundred trillionths of synapses in your brain when we first born according to “How People Learn in Early Stages of Life” and stuffs like that. Well not how, but why it is important to learn at early stages of life.
Now, if you have kids or something, think a bit like this. When you first born, you have a hundred trillionths synapses in your brain, but at the time you reached middle aged, you only have 500 million left. It is not a very big casualty. You went from hundred and hundred of something to less than like, how many percent would that be? Like if you have a hundred trillion, you do not have even one trillion, you do not even have a hundred billion, you have 500 million. That is very, very, very small compared to what you had when first born.
Where all those synapses go? Apparently, when you do not use one of them and does not become activated by certain use or you not using it, it just dies. So basically, as you do not use your brain and you do not use this thing or challenge yourself in memorize and blah, blah, blah and try going to all these different things and keep expanding your brain all the time, it is just going to shrink and shrink and shrink and die and whatever you use will stay active. As you stay active, no matter what, it will stay alive. But all the rest that it could not be, is not being used, that is one of the benefits to learning young. In learning young, you can expand your brain and you will have a bigger portion of your brain active.
I am going to point out that I am not a brain specialist and not a doctor. I have not been taking any medical courses and I do not actually know what I am talking about so much to say that. Certainly, I am only pretty much going by whatever I had in other things. I do actually know this for a fact. But that just what was given to me in the article that I am reading which I thought was quite interesting actually.
I can remember, it was that somewhere in the internet, it was like 2:00 in the morning when I was, I do random researches at night. I was just like, “Hey! I want to know about how John Elton’s work? Whooa cool! I am just going to start reading about it.” It is like 3:00AM and I went like, “I should probably go to bed.”
But, I love just the way and I really like to learn about any random things, especially if it helps me about my piano stuff like that. So, that is another thing to keep in mind, like if we want to keep our brains functioning even when we get older, and older, and older, and older. The younger you are, the better if will affect you later because you keep your brain in tune. Just like when you get older, your brain starts to deteriorate, and deteriorate, and deteriorate and then like I use to play. The people there had quick bad brain dysfunctions that I think, from what I was reading, but I am not sure – do not quote me on that, apparently as you do not use your brain or use your memory and stuffs like that, it deteriorates and that is when the brain starts to lose its function. Of course it also has to do with like the nutrition you eat and all other stuff. But the brain attributes a big thing, so think of it, by learning music actually you could, like doing all these at music, you can help your brain stay fit and active very later on in life. Or, you just got completely crazy like some other pianist.
These musicians are very eccentric, that is fine, probably because they spend so much a long time. Look at me, I am talking to a camera.
