How to Avoid Slow Play on the Golf Course

Like you, I really love golf, and I wish a point in my life right now where I just want to play a great game of golf undisturbed and unperturbed. As you might have guessed one of the major problems in playing golf these days, happens to be slow play. They mentioned this frequently on the PGA tour, which really does not affect me personally. What does affect me is when I encounter slow play on the golf courses that I play, especially when it is so unnecessary.

I do have some solutions and these are my solutions to slow play. By the way, let me say this now, somebody that you know could probably benefit from this DVD or this video. So, why not forward it on to them as a saddle way of reminding them that we need to pick up the pace when we play, having said that on Rego.

Perhaps, the best way to avoid slow play is to belong to a country club. There we do not have to put up with it. You pay a lot of money so that you may tear off on a real wish not have people in front of you and certainly not behind you. So, that is the number one solution.

Simply spend the money to become a member at a country club. Most of us choose not to do that of course, because we like to play different golf courses. Number two, there is some people they might find it not fee sable economically.

The second way to speed off slow play is to be ready to hit your shot. The golf course is no place to practice, and really, you should have developed the specific routine in hitting every golf shot which should not take any longer than 30 seconds. I am being generous there, my routine takes 16 seconds on average.

The third way to speed off slow play is to practice your short jam in your own backyard or on a range, not on the golf course. Once you get to your approach shot, you should know how to hit it and you should just go ahead do your routine, and hit your shot.

The fourth way to speed off slow play of course is to get to your ball and be ready to hit your shot. That is it. Get there and play ready golf. If you get to your ball, and the other guys are not ready go ahead and hit up. That is it. You never want to interfere with somebody else’s golf shot of course.

The fifth way to speed up slow play of course is just be practical. If you are hitting your ninth shot into power, four take up your ball. The other way of course is to be prepared in your propitiation. Have an extra ball, tease, a coin, and a debit repair tool. What is the point of going back to your cart to go get a golf ball, that is non-sense, just keep it in your pocket. If you hit it out or bounce into the water, go ahead take your penalty, drop it appropriately and hit your shot. You should have been prepared for that.

Every once in a while we get to a situation where it is cart path only. Well, what you need to do is carry more than one clubs when you get your ball you have a club to hit it. Do not come back to the cart to get another club. Keep the game moving. That is the most important thing. You can relate the stories, and the tales and all the antidotes later on the tea while you are waiting for the people in front of you. keep up with the group in front of you. if you cannot keep up with the group ahead of you, then invite the people behind you to play through. Now, those are my suggestions, and what I like you to do is to forward this on to that specific guy in your foursome that you know, could benefit from this. You know the guy I am talking about.
