Now, if you are really want to getting the most out of your board you got to learn how to Ollie. These things are design to bend, and a snap back, the more snap the better you are going to be Ollieing higher.
Ollie is awesome, if you want to be getting onto a rail, getting more air of jumps or just hop and over a rock on the middle of the run. It is one of the most useful things you can get.
You are going to be ollieing everyday and the more you practice it, it becomes automatic then you will be doing in your sleep and that is awesome.
The idea is, you want to be shifting most of your weight is on your back foot, Ollieing the front foot up, so you bend the board, and then pushing off that back one the really helpless snap of the board.
Now, once you are in the air just want to be equalizing both of your feet at the same height, so that you learn on both feet and then you can actually absorb the land.
These motions very simply, you can practice it without your snow board on, all you need to think about balance on your back foot, pop off of it and land on both feet. Awesome stuff.
