Now, I am going to use a picture enlarging program, this one is called Rasterbator but I have covered several in the past before, so you can use whatever you like. I like this one because it allows you to choose how many dots print you want which can save on ink. And now you want to set it to how large you want it. Make sure that the size will fit on the cardboard that you have, you do not want to overshoot it. So, I am going to set the dot size to three millimeters and make it multicolor and then it is going to just export it to a PDF file.
So, this is what the picture looks like on multiple pages. So, now what you have to do is print it out. You can use whatever printer setting you want depending on how clear you want the image. I am just going to set mine to fit to paper because it creates overlapping edges so that I can glue them together easier. Then take all the pictures to your piece of cardboard and lay them out in the arrangement that you want them. And then once you have them in place, just glue them down. And if you have a larger piece of cardboard of course you can make larger images. That is completely up to you in what you have available. So once you have them glued down, just cut out around the image, however you want, you can make that as close as you want and then that is pretty much it. So this is the finished product of the Yoda cardboard cutout.
All right, well, that is it for this tutorial. For more, go to tinkernut.com.
