Boxing- The Double End Bag

The proper bag you want to use out of this part, get as close as you can to getting hit and have some of type of retaliation after you throw in your punches. So, what you are going to use is the double hand bag. It is basic that you learn your timing between hand and target coordination, at the same time by hitting the double hand bag. It comes at you and it teaches you how to dodge the punches, shift your head from left to right and from right to left.

Now, what we have to do is also, when you shift the body to the right, for example, the left hand rises a little bit higher up to the temple level. When you shift to the left side, your right hand rises because that side is exposed to your opponent because remember, when you are in the ring with somebody else, you are not the only one punching. There is also, at the same time, you cannot throw in your punch. He might be throwing a punch, as well. So, you always got to think offense and defense even though a good defense is a good is a good offense. Again, you are going to throw the jab, left, right. Again, left, right.

And then as you progress and you find the timing, you get the timing right, then can follow up with other punches as far as the hook, uppercuts, double jab, hook, up to jab.
