Tree Cutting Safety: Protective Equipment

Personal protective equipment is very important part of your cutting equipment. So you want to make sure when you head out to the woods working with the chain saw. A hard hat, safety glasses, face protection, hearing protection, and also think about think about visibility as we start to work especially when you have other people around and you should not cut alone, but you know where they are and they are visible. Leg protection with a chain saw comes in several different forms. Different types are found in this particular garment, the white material is a wrap net nylon, the yellow is a caviler. The last PPE item is foot protection making sure at least you have good heavy duty footwear with some good soles for good traction. There boots actually have change saw resistive material built in to them. A lot of people over look the use of PPE when operating a chain saw. Whether the cost of availability or cost, but in reality it is very important part of your plan.
