Male1: You know Brian, that is a real good question because most people want to just squeeze that real tight thinking that they have more control over the club yet. When in actuality they have less. The pressure would be very similar to some other things that you probably done like I will tight with you to hold the rock if you are skipping a rock or hold the ball like you are throwing the ball. Sine we are using our hands and then our fingers anyway, it is the same kind of pressure. It is very light.
Brian: Is their one hand, the right hand or the left hand that has more pressure than the other one?
Male1: You know there are a lot of discussions about that and sometimes people feel like it is too pressuring the last three fingers of their left hand or the two bottoms of there right hand. But I find that in the students that I worked with, that are uniform, pressure with no tension, the extra pressure just creates tension all throughout your body and your shoulders and creates that packing motion. When the grip pressure is correct, when the grip is correct and the pressure is correct we have a tendency to get a much smoother golf swing as a result.
Brian: A key important point to remember is if you relaxed your shoulders this will take tensions form your arms and out to your hands to give you a softer and better grip.
