Female: Yoga is something completely new for me but I have decided to make it a part of my workout on a regular basis to get more flexible in today’s stress. Today, I am trying three different back exercises.
The first move is called the rainbow.
This exercise helps me to relieve tension in my back and I like to practice this move at night before I go to sleep.
It is a very gentle movement. Inhale and arch your back to the sky and then push the belly down to the ground while exhaling.
This next movement is called the cobra. Some yoga teachers believe that this posture is good for the kidneys, heart, spine, and is even set to boost overall vitality and feelings of self confidence.
The third posture is called healthy spine.
This is one of my favorite postures because when I a performing it, it feels like I am getting a back massage.
Eventually practice this movement everyday just because it feels good.
Each of the three exercises felt really good. I feel relaxed and especially in my back so give them a try. It is definitely worth it and I will see you next time on Body Rock TV
