How to Perform a Criss Angel Mind Reading Card Trick

Hi, everyone. Today I am going to teach you a really cool impromptu mind reading card trick. This is been used by famous illusionist like David Blaine and Criss Angel and it is just amazing how easy it is but how mind blowing this a fact that you go audience.

All you need is some cards, I use about 20 playing cards you do not fold that and you could borrow them of course, a pad of paper just the regular pad and a regular pen. Once you have these items which you could probably buy in any household you are ready to go.

Now to do this magic trick there is one secret thing that you need to do at the beginning and there is also are few things you need to remember throughout the fact. So I will go slowly so that we can all understand this. Once you have some playing cards I use about 20, take the cards and you can have spectators shuffle this up, okay. There is no techniques it does not matter how they shuffle them that is what so great about this effect.

Now when you take this card back from the spectator glance the bottom card casually remembered that card, okay so that if you are taking a back just kind a pick at it, okay. In our case it is the 9 of diamonds now we are to tell the spectator were just going to lay this cards randomly all over the table, okay. And what is important is that the last card that you glance it the 9 diamonds that you put that somewhere here that they probably not going to pick and that you will remember what it is.

So the purposes of this example all the way at over here, okay. Now you are ready to begin now depending now what the card is at the bottom in our example it was the nine of diamonds, okay which is right here. You will start the effect by naming that card you will say can you do me a favor touch and you are talking as spectator at this point. Touch one of the box of the cards that you think is the nine of diamonds, okay and you tell them not to look at the card just touch it. So they are thinking as this one you lifted up at this point and you say yes you got it that is the nine of diamonds, okay.

At this point you put the card down off to the side and you write down, okay once you jot down our first prediction here and write down a nine and you can make a diamond, okay. Just so, you and the spectator know what is going on, okay. Now the truth is the card that you put on the side is really the five of clubs you were laying, okay.

In order to make this trick work you need to make them believe you are telling the truth and also you are doing one a head, it is one a head game, okay. So this is really a five of clubs but they think it is the nine of diamonds, okay. What you do at this point is you need to remember the five of clubs or whatever your clubs is in your mind, okay and you tell them punch the back of the card that you think is the five of clubs. So they are thinking wow it is a pretty amazing if you can do this.

So let see if they touch this card, okay do not let them look at it and pick it up and you look at it and say yes you got it, it is the five of clubs, okay. Now it is really the ace of clubs but your lying, okay you put this down you say okay you done I will just write it down the predictions was the five of clubs and you can write clubs it is up to you.

Okay five of clubs but it was really the ace of clubs okay so what you do at this point is you say okay at this point we are going to look for one final card which happens to be the nine of diamonds and you tell them that you the magician are going to look for this card yourself, okay or excuse me I did not mean the nine of diamonds I am in screwed of not it just kind a confusing.

What you will do just say you the magician me is going to find the ace of clubs, okay so whatever this last card once that you put down we are going to say you are going to look for this card now, okay. Now what you really doing is you are pointing out that card you put off to the side of the beginning. In our case it was the nine of diamonds, okay so I am going to tell them we are about looking I am going to work for the ace of clubs and of course I am going to make a game out of this, I move my hands around but eventually I come over here.

Now it is really the nine of diamonds but I am going to lie and say yes I got the ace of clubs, okay and then of course you write down over here just to keep things straight ace of clubs. Now at this point you can push all this cards off to the side and you show them the pad and you say we do not begins as the fact the card were shuffle and I ask you to find the nine of diamonds and the five of clubs and I try to find the ace of clubs without looking.

When that be amazing if all this predictions are correct and of course they say sure you call up them only when it is over and one of a time we do have our nine of diamonds, okay we also have our ace of clubs and we also have our five of clubs, okay.

So this is a great effect, sorry for goofing on the video when you are trying to teach us sometimes it is kind a confusing but believe me I can perform as a few times in front of an audience they will become like second nature you do not even have to think about what you are doing.

Remember the key you always one a head enough and by doing that it makes to look like you are a mind reader. I think if they do pick the key card you put off to the side at the beginning you do need to end the trick at the beginning and just say okay great you got the card and I do not think him going further at that point.

So if they do grab the key card you could just say great you found the card and then you end it up right there. But in the event they are doing you can carry on with the whole of fact but you can do this anywhere on the street, payroll, house wherever and ended below people’s minds.
