Goalkeeper Toss
Each player receives 5 shots. Player making the most shots wins.
Speaker: Goalkeeper Toss Drill involves player, just sending the ball out, Doug is going to receive it, take a shot. We get five repetitions each, and see who can make the most in out of our five.
So I play it out to him in anyway I like. I have to stay near the goal line, and Doug's working on his power, instep shot. Receives it, gets control of it first, preparation touch, and shot.
Excellent driven ball. Trying to keep the ball low. You need to be able to shoot the ball low before you are going to start aiming high. It's a lot more difficult to keep the ball low, low driven ball. That's one for Doug.
Now I get my five repetitions. Receive, preparation touch, strike. Didn't get to the post, that's an easy save for Doug. Didn't get it on target, that's even worse.
Sees the ball, under control, preparation touch. Any rebound he gives is live.
You really want to practice finishing you rebound. It's never a dead ball on a rebound play, never.
