What?s up! My name is Chi. I am dance hip hop and salsa instructor based at Southern California. You can find me at clubdancelessons.com. So the move we will learn right now is ghetto bounce. So it is start with a regular bounce which is just boom. You are just going to drop down and free fall and you just kind of catch it at the bottom. So I want you to drop down fast come up slow, drop down. Slow, fast, slow, fast, slow, fast, slow fast, slow, fast. Poom, poom, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and one, two, three, four, five six, I am going to go side to side to the left, right, left, right, and so following each time and you drop, drop, drop, drop and and poom, poom, poom, poom, poom.
So that is your bounce. Actually, let?s try that bounce with music. Six, seven, eight and down, down, down, down. So you are just got to free fall poom and drop. Now I am going to go side to side and I just let my knees collapse from under me poom, poom, drop, drop, drop, drop, poom. So now ghetto bounce is double time one and two, and three, and four, five and six, and seven, and eight, two. And the rest of kind of just chilling, I am kind of loose. I let my arms flap around. Normally, I would not let my arms flat but it is just a kind of the style of the move so one, and two, and three, four, and five, six, and seven, and eight.
So with to ghetto bounce, a couple things, I bounce faster so I bounce one, and two, and three, and four, and five, and six. So double time right. Now, the other thing is when I did the bounce I have more time so I am going to make move bigger. Get a bounce as twice as fast so instead I am doing it this big. I am going to stay close into the bottom and just poom, poom, you see it. So right now it is how big I am bouncing instead of poom, poom, poom. So speed it up I want to get closer to the bottom. Poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, one and two, and I am just kicking back, one good thing is like I a going to - instead of being upright I am going to lean back a little bit. Kind of like the sitting poom, poom, poom.
So this is one, and two, and three, and four, five, and six, and seven, and eight. I am going to add my arms to it. I am going to just punch my chin, punch, punch, punch, punch, five, six, seven, and eight. So when I go to the bottom poom my fist reaches the top, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven eight. Now I am going to keep my fist the same speed poom, but I am going to ghetto bounce five, and six, and seven, and eight and, one, and two, and three, four, and five, six. Now I am going to speed up my arms to match my bounce three, and four, and four, and five, and six, seven, and eight.
So music, (music playing) so again bounce, bounce, poom, poom, and punch, punch, punch, punch, and punch, and punch, and, punch, punch. Punch, punch, punch, poom. Now I am going to add the ghetto bounce ? poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom, poom. Now punch faster ? one, and two, and three, and four, and five, six, and seven, poom.
