Video Transcript: (More)
Start off. We are going to use 160Q gray. I am going to create a flat weave that create the hammer or the nose. Two balloons crossing each other, I do that by creating a bubble on each end then twisting that bubble. I am going back with the other balloon.
(Music Playing)
This is going to be the hammerheads? head the front of the shark. The body I am creating out of the weaving base of five balloons. I am going to create the shape that forms the body.
(Music Playing)
Now, the shark, starting off wide and very kind of compressed and then the shape of the body becomes narrower.
(Music Playing)
As I go along I can change the size of this and the proportion of the bubbles to change the shape that the shark creates. To start it off with the very wide kind of shape and as I go along and make the side bubbles larger and the bottom bubbles smaller to create a difference in the size of the body of the shark.
(Music Playing)
I do not like to use the ends of the balloons, because as I twist the ends get the kind of funny shape them because of the bubbles, so I like to replace them like this. Twisting new balloons and deflate cut the excess off that ones and tie new one here.
(Music Playing)
Now, here I am going to create a structure halt twist that is suppose to form the different shape for the shark. I am twisting above while it goes across that creates the reef that I want to use and I use the other bubble to go back so I can continue weaving but I get the shape I like.
(Music Playing)
Now, you start to decrease the size of the bubbles, start forming the tail for the shark, the back end, this considerably narrower.
(Music Playing)
So far we have done the easy part of creating the shark. The really tricky part is the small, like dot, the shimmer in the eye.
(Music Playing)
That is it. See you in the next video.
