Hi stampers! Today we are going to make this candy bar and I will show you to do that today. You are using aluminum foil and the designer paper that I am using is the rainbow serbert along with the tempting turquoise and the green galore cardstock and then two silver brads and then two silver brads at the top. So let me show you how to do this.
You are going to use a piece of aluminum foil cut at 4 ¼” x 4 ¼”, chocolate chip cardstock cut at 1 ¾” x 4”, rainbow serbert designer paper at 3 ½” x 4 ¾”. And then for the front of my card, I using the green galore that is cut at 1” x 4 ¼”, the rainbow serbert is cut at 1 ¾” x 4 ¼” and then the smaller layers cut at ½” x 4 ¼”. So let me show you how to make the candy bar. I am using the image thanks from the heartfelt thanks stamp set which looks like this. This is the heartfelt thing stamp set. So these things comes out of that stamp set.
I am going to go ahead and ink that up with chocolate chip, and I will get my little candy bar here. What I am going to do is I am going to stamp the thanks twice so I am just going to line this bottom edge of my stamp to the bottom edge of my cardstock and then I am going to turn it upside down so I can get it lined up better. That will get my stamp from the jig out and do the same thing making sure my image is upside down too. And then I am going to stamp it again on the other side. So it looks like a Hershey’s chocolate candy bar. At least that is where I am going for anyway. So that is what the chocolate bar actually looks like inside but you are going to only expose probably the first two.
So then you are going to take your aluminum foil, the shiny side out and you are just going to wrap it. Now you got to make sure that you remember which side you want to put your thanks to show. Because that is where you are going to rip it so I am going to go ahead and put my cardstock and my chocolate chip facing down and the bottom of the candy bar is going to be well actually the top of the candy bar is going to be the closest to the edge of your aluminum foil. Apply some adhesive and then you are just going to fold your aluminum foil and then fold this one down on top of that. Now this is the bottom of my candy bar so I am going to go ahead and run that through the crimper a little bit so it gets that finished look there. I am going to take my rainbow serbert designer paper and I am going to - this is the end of my candy bar so I am going to flip that over and I want to have the main part of the crimped areas which is what is going to be showing that most. I am just going to put some adhesive on the back side of the aluminum foil and I am going to wrap that around that. Then you can just go ahead and start ripping it. I like to rip it in little tiny pieces because it looks more like you really want to get in there and you just kind of went crazy getting into the chocolate. You want to expose that thanks underneath. You can even tear the aluminum foil all in different jagged. So you get the idea.
Then the thanks, we are going to stamp that in green galore on the whisper white and I used the key tag punch. Put some dimensionals on the back of that. I am going to get my card here. I am going to go ahead and put it together. And then I am just going to take the thanks with the key tag punch and put that right on the candy bar so it looks like that.
It is cute! I love it! Here is the other one, see I want the other way. There is no mistakes in stamping. All right, thanks for stopping by and we will see you later, bye!
