I grew up in Kinston, North Carolina and graduated from high school in 1991. I moved to Charlotte, NC to study at The University of North Carolina where I graduated in ’96 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Economics. I moved to Concord, NC in May of 2004 and met my wife online in December 2004. She was living in Atlanta, Georgia and was studing for her Masters of Divinity. We got married January 14th  2006. Our first child arrived on Oct 19th 2007 and I completed my MBA in December 2008.

 In my free time, I enjoy reading about cars, and the new motor sport called drifting. I love Japanese and Chinese culture whether it’s reading about it, watching it on TV or hearing about it first hand. My wife would say I’m a little obsessed with Japanese Animation (Anime as we call it) and she’s right. I collect the VHS tapes, DVD’s, books (Manga), art, figures, and design costumes. I also love to fix things. I do about 70% to 80% of the repair work in my house. It’s my second hobby.
