I am a middle-aged (can I still say that over 60?) male; married, retired.

I am currently enjoying my '2nd career/hobby'; writing and contributing various digital content items online through various sites and venues.

I enjoy composing music, writing song lyrics, poems, articles; creating graphic designs and digital illustrations; witty sayings and slogans; and much more.  I have built a number of blogs and websites, as well.

HAVE-A-LOOK AT MY SITES!

Campfire Content bannerVisit my Campfire Content blog-site for an overview of my various endeavors.  Includes numerous links to my other blogs and websites, and to most of the content I have submitted around the web (that I hold copyrights to - I also contribute to a few client-sites where they purchase copyrights).

I have compiled a few "How-To" e-books, as well; consisting of collections of some of my published writings, in handy e-book format.

My e-books, original music, graphics, and other digital content are available for purchase through my Campfire Content and other sites.

You can review them at my 'Campfire Content at Lulu.com' web-store, where you can also purchase them, if you wish to.

Some of my e-books are also available in Amazon Kindle(R) format, from my 'Campfire Content at Amazon' web-store.

I also love to create graphic designs for sale through such sites as

My zazzle store

zazzle.com and cafepress.com, where you can purchase mugs, T-shirts (and other clothing), baseball-caps, mouse-pads, magnets, stationery, stickers, and many other items; imprinted with colorful, entertaining, even sometimes 'witty' images (and even some poetry!) that I've created; all by myself! (wow!)

Quing-It logo, iconVisit also my Quing-It website; where I am attempting to build a "one-stop-source for product ingredient information".

My Quing-It website is intended to provide consumers with readily available information about a comprehensive variety of toxic and potentially hazardous-to-health ingredients in our foods, cosmetics, personal hygiene, household, automotive, building, and other products we use every day.

We must end the madness of contributing to our own general health demise with products we are exposed to; or that we ALLOW ourselves to be exposed to!

Manufacturers must be held accountable if they continue to add to 'body-burden' and other health damages.  It is not acceptable that these substances are allowed to be in our everyday products; even our foods!

Contact your government representatives; tell them it is time for accountability, transparency, honesty and integrity about the dangers and hazards of items that many unsuspecting people use every day.

When these exposures build up to critical levels, costly healthcare is needed to try to remedy what should never have happened in the first place, had our consumer goods been pure and safe, like they should be.

**NOTE - 4/5/10: I'm pleased to learn that GoodGuide.com has launched an iPhone(r) app for product and manufacturer information.  Simply scan the product identification symbol (i.e., barcode, etc.), and GoodGuide's own rating system will let you know where the product and manufacturer stands; with regard to Health, Environment, and Social impacts.  Good job, GoodGuide!  Keep up the GoodGuide good work!

Thanks for visiting!

for How to get a trillion dollars! on 20th, Apr 2011

April, 2011---Well, some of the figures have changed, but the fact remains that we are still spending way more than we can afford as a "solvent and stable economy". Something has to give, and, as usual, it appears it will be the poor and middle classes who are forced to "suck it up". Indeed, we now hear how well the "super-rich" did during the 2008 turmoil that put so many of the "struggling folks" out of their homes and sent many to the streets as homeless persons because of predatory credit and lending practices and other similar greed-borne tactics allowed to be used on unsuspecting Americans. They said they were "too big to fail"...but FAIL they did. Big time! And we'll all be paying for it for generations.

for The Scariest Video Games on 23rd, Dec 2010

I must say, it really is no surprise to me that our culture and society is degrading as it is. How can our children mature with any sense of compassion, or humility, or grace, or other peace-fostering behaviors when we continue to allow "impairment to the morals of minors" like these games? "Freedom of speech and expression" certainly has limits, and, in my opinion, some of these (and also some other entertainment venues) go way beyond what a caring and peace-seeking society should accept as "reasonably safe for our children". Oh, the producers "rate" them, but someone isn't paying too much attention to that, I don't think. The first title on this list took in $360 million on its first day on sale, and the title also boasts the notoriety of being the "single highest-grossing launch in entertainment history" (http://www.worldtech24.com/games/new-video-call-duty-black-ops-pentagon-themed-five-zombies-mode-action-call-duty-black-ops).

I don't know about you, but I'm a little frightened by all these influences working on our kids minds and hearts. What good can possibly come out of a steady diet of these? Isn't there some laws that say we aren't supposed to "impair the morals of minors"? Isn't this kind of stuff doing just that? Can children process this stuff "generically", without it affecting their overall outlook on life itself? Somehow, I think something must be done to try turning our kids' hearts toward more peaceable endeavors. Why can't we produce games and movies that promote GOOD kinds of behaviors? Why can't we learn how to nurture and encourage that innocence our kids are born with, instead of introducing them to these things? I'm sorry if this sounds a little "old-fashioned" or otherwise "out-of-touch-with-reality", but I just felt the need to my own "free expression" of personal thoughts on this ugly (my opinion) facet of our world. I've submitted a couple of articles that further express my opinions on some of these things, too. See those at: http://www.bukisa.com/articles/218832_promoting-non-peaceful-influences-hurts-us-all, and http://www.bukisa.com/articles/218827_promote-peace-every-day. Thanks for the feedback, folks. Glad you like it.

for Evolution and Creationism: Why can't they both be true? on 18th, Nov 2010

Hi iceveela...yes, it would; both evolution and Creation require "faith" to believe in something that cannot be completely understood or proven beyond any question or doubt. The theory of evolution only explains what science can find enough 'evidence' of...that life, as we know it, did progress and learn and evolve; and, as I like to say, "of course it did...that's the way God designed it!" Thanks for your feedback!

for When Jesus Comes Again on 17th, Nov 2010

Hi again, Evergreenlily...I decided to upload my latest mp3 file right here, now that I've discovered it's possible to do that. This mp3 is not perfect, but it gives the overall sense of the piece, I hope. Still working on getting it more refined. Enjoy!

for When Jesus Comes Again on 16th, Nov 2010

Woops! Forgot to insert the URL. http://www.rmusic.com/unsigned/w1z11.html Thx again!

for When Jesus Comes Again on 16th, Nov 2010

Hi Evergreenlily...sorry for not responding earlier; guess I don't visit here enough. This song is posted at several sites, including rMusic.com, ProjectOpus.com, and others. Here's a link for my profile page at rMusic.com, where you can find this song in mp3 format. I don't have any readily available documents with guitar chords, but the song is composed in a basic 3-chord style (C/F/G, etc.). I'm glad you like the lyrics, and thanks for your feedback.
