I was born and raised in Jacksonville Beach, FL. I remained at the beaches until I moved to Cleveland, TN where I attended Bible College. From there I moved to Virginia Beach, VA to begin my career in television. I later placed my career on hold and earned my bachelors degree in Mass Media Communications, with an emphasis in Advertising, Public Relations and Journalism, at ORU in Tulsa, OK. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.86 grade point average and received many accolades such as “Who’s Who Among America’s Colleges†and Universities for 3 years running, and the “All American Scholar College Award.†I was tapped into the Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman Honor Society, National Honor Society, as well as many other notable organizations.
After graduation, I opened up my own business in graphic design, in Nashville, TN, where I was able to put my skills as a prolific writer to work. My talents extended beyond the pen and after a few years in the mid 90’s, an opportunity opened up to switch my career to Interior Design. I later moved to the Houston area to further my career and have remained in the area to this day. This year I was honored and tapped into the “Biltmore’s Who’s Who Among Professional Executives and Business Women.†I am also a Ruby Investor with the South Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, in The Woodlands, TX.Â
Over the last few years, I re-entered the writer’s market and have extended my freelance services as a senior blog writer/editor for various websites, ghostwriting services to local and national authors, writing reviews for business establishments around the country, developing brochures and newsletters, as well as other journalistic needs. I also enjoy photography.Â
In addition to my journalistic and design background…I am an avid defender of abused animals and have rescued several animals of every species, out of dangerous and abusive situations. I enjoy having fundraisers through my Tupperware and Avon business to help raise funding for organizations, to help support abused animals and to find them good homes.
Mom... Where you be???
Mom… I often wonder where you be?Not having you here makes it hard to see. That the world is still good and there is a lot more to give.I’m more focused on your absence, then trying to live. They say you are with God in that

City of Marshall Texas
by vision2win | in Travel > Destinations
I'm a history buff and love to explore "out of the way" towns and "off the wall" trails; just for the fun of it. Here is a jewel of a find that is only about 3 hours from Houston. If you want to take the family on a short vacation, here is a city that I would definitely recommend!
