Serowa is from Kenya but currently lives in California, USA. Serowa practiced civil litigation in Kenya until she came to the USA in 2000. She went back to school to get an MA in marraige and Family therapy. She is considers herself a lawyer cum therapist. Of importance is Serowa's Christian faith which defines her as a person and motivates everything she does. Serowa is a mother of a 15 year old son, her joy and challenge but also the greatest blessing that God has honored her with. Serowa's writing is inspired and motivated by her faith, and purpose in life. She is widely traveled all over the world which helps her relate to people with understanding.
