I am a writer of articles, grants and proposals, as well as fiction, poetry and essays. I managed non-profit child care programs for many years. I recently downsized my life by leaving my job and living on much less, in the process clarifying what is important to me and savoring it to the fullest.
I am Mom to three grown children, all of whom are happily paired off and earning their own living (yeah!). They are now at the point where they are interesting people in their own rights, not just because they are my kids.
My interests other than writing include yoga, running and walking, weight lifting, kayaking, choral singing and tap-dancing. I am involved in all of these on a semi-regular basis. Oh, and I am always in the middle of reading at least three books. Current favorite is Team of Rivals, about Lincoln.
I'm trying to learn more about SEO and computer graphics, and figuring out how to do well on Bukisa. You'll know I've made progress when you see my photo posted on this site:)
