We equate security and comfort with food, but in tough times you can do yourself a big favor not to depend on it. And tough times could be coming! When the economy is tanking and money and food are scarce, reducing both your girth and your consumptive needs could reduce your discomfort and increase your general sense of security.
If you know this little secret, you can pattern your new cat to the location of the house where you want her to spend most of her time. This won't keep her out of the rest of the house, it will just give her a home base that you chose, not her.
Half of all bird species migrate when winter sets in. But others birds like cardinals, bluejays, nuthatches, wrens, some robins and chickadees often spend their winters in climates where the temperatures may go below zero – sometimes in the same locations where they nested in the summer. How do they survive in such cold?
The Federal Government continues to weigh in on the Ecological Society of America (ESA) endangered listing of polar bears based on the premise of Global Warming. But Dr. Mitchell Taylor, a biologist recently retired from the Nunavut Territorial Government in Canada, doesn’t agree that the bears are in danger.
In 1936, Senate Document 264 was filed regarding the lack of minerals in U.S. soil, but was never addressed. Today, one of the major elemental deficiencies in this country is lack of iodine in the food, resulting in a nearly nationwide iodine deficiency. Regardless of the 'no salt' mandates of doctors, Americans ignore iodized salt to their peril.
Telephoning or FAXing one's Washington representatives who aren't listening MAY work occasionally, but here's a way to communicate that will get their attention - and it's so inexpensive that just about anyone can remind them Every Day who they work for -- the people of the United States!
Grass contains roughage and chlorophyll, a potent life source of plants that supports health, strength, and detoxification for animals that seek it out for its nutritive and digestive value. Wheat and Oat grass are two of the richest sources of chlorophyll for your cat, containing bio-available plant minerals and numerous enzymes as well.
A look at two of the largest spiders in their respective geographical areas, their habits, their homes, and their ecology.
Just one day after President Nixon refused to comply with a federal appeals court order to surrender the hostage ‘Watergate tapes’ and ordered Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox to cease efforts to obtain them, he ordered Cox fired. Cox had refused to back off, saying it would violate his promise to the U.S. Senate.
As man uses fewer residential pesticides and herbicides, and seeks more methods of environmentally safe living for their families, there is no doubt that wildlife will continue to move in around us in the small green areas that are left.
Suicide Christians? by poetryman69
Is Christianity a suicide pact? Are we prepared to "tolerate" ourselves to death?
Just because there are more of you does not mean you will win!

...and think of the money you'll save on toilet paper! Seriously, this is good for you and this does work. I know because I have done this. Like the article says, this is the quickest way to drop weight, make more time for yourself and even save money in the process, is to fast. A side effect I noticed, it can improve mental acuity, sharpen reflexes, and improve the view in the mirror. Joining fitness and weight loss programs are a money making racket. If you buy less food you'll eat less, lose weight and save money. You can't be too skinny or too rich, right? Excellent article. Thank You.
HarvardHorror on Pattern Your New Cat to Her Own Room on 10th, Apr 2011
Hey, I tried this and it works! My cat and I drove over a thousand miles to our new digs and I didn't let her out of the cage until we were safely inside our bedroom. I kept her inside our room for several days during which time she inspected every inch. When she did get to explore the rest of the house she always returned to the room in which I first released her- our bedroom. If anything spooked her or when she just felt like "going home", an invisible magnet pulled her back to "point A". I have never heard of this trait before but I'm a true believer now. Anyone who owns or thinks of owning a cat should read this. It will make life easier and better for man and beast. Thank You!

Thank you for your kind comments MbT and howtocurecancer. I am a real fan of Polar bears -- and all animals, but we need to know the truth. and not just allow ourselves to be mindlessly scared by media reports. Hunting is still the biggest threat to Polar bears, not Global Warming (or "Climate Change" as they call it now - since Climategate exposed that those we thought were reputable scientists were 'cooking the books' to make it appear we had a major 'warming crisis' when we don't.) Many feel this dishonesty was purely in support of a push for global government. Regardless, it just t'aint true.
