About Me: Hi there, my name is Kavita and I find writing a great way to make sense of things around me. I love sharing knowledge on everything I can get my hands on, so naturally I chose to write for Bukisa. While I am not consistent with my article writing, I try to write as much as possible. I find great delight in reading other articles and am quite impressed with the wealth of knowledge that has been acquired on this website. I have also found that the more I write, the better I become, and Bukisa helps make this possible. I try to write about various topics, and often these topics are stemmed from personal experiences or courses that I have taken during my college career. I am currently obtaining my Masters in School Counseling and look forward sharing my knowledge in this area very soon. On a more personal note, I am an avid health and nutrition junkie. I am one of those people you will see in the grocery aisle comparing three different brands of peanut butter to determine which is healthier. I love to workout and find that my day is shot if I don’t get in a workout. I also am a lover of music of new sorts and documentaries of any kind, especially politics. I also am a lover of any stirring quotes and am truly inspired by quotes by the Dali Lama or Gandhi. Gandhi's approach 1) “Whenever you are confronted with an opponent. Conquer him with love.” 2) “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” 3) An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

How to Get On a Normal Sleep Schedule by jaredsgirl

Getting enough sleep at night is important for your health and to prevent and heal sickness. Sleeping is one of the most vital things our bodies need to function properly. When you don't get an adequate amount of sleep, your body and mind tend to react sluggishly and you become cranky, emotional, and unmotivated.

KarenGross on Incorporating Prochaska's Stages of Change in Personal Well Being on 21st, Nov 2009

Excellent article! These steps sound like a logical progression. I'm sure I have been through this cycle a few times without thinking about the stages. I may have made more linear progress if I had a plan like this. I think that people can get stuck in any of the phases. For example, a dieter who gets stuck in the action stage might fall into bullemia or anorexia because she fears she is incapable of reaching her goal through more healthy stages. Lots of food (pun intended) for thought here.

for Do Not Run Away From a Problem on 16th, Jul 2010

Very true. Life is full of problems, some are big, some are small, but the more we chose to avoid the problems we are faced with, the bigger those problems will become, and the more difficult it will be to handle them.

Very nice article.

for 7 Get Rich Quick Schemes That Don't Work on 16th, Jul 2010

Excellent article.

Whenever I hear the word get rich and quick in one sentence I automatically stop listening. From common sense and from my own experience and hard work, I learned that money does not come easy to anyone, there will always be some sort of work involved. Whenever there is a site that says I will make money I always research to see various proofs of payment. Overall, there is no Get Rich quick method and it is best for people to realize this now.

for Should you give cheater another chance on 21st, Nov 2009

Its also important to find if there was an underlying issue, no one likes to be cheated on, and in an ideal world it would never happen. I agree with the statement about feeling neglected, I would say from personal experience, if you feel the relationship is faltering, to talk to your partner about how you feel, because without communication when there is a problem will lead to even more problems. .

for Tips for Cheating on 21st, Nov 2009

lol, i was about to say that you were pretty gutsy for posting this up, that was until I read that it was a note for teachers and not for students. Personally. as a student, I would never cheat on exams or anything, it just isn't worth getting kicked out of school for.
