I am a freelance writer, motivator and web designer.
So what is my background? Well my first job after leaving school with a handful of 0-levels and A-levels was as an accounts clerk in an Insurance company in Exeter, Devon. My last job before going self-employed was as a chef in a grill restaurant in Plymouth.
In between I have been a kung fu instructor, street busker, a financial advisor in London, worked in retail, worked in the restaurant industry in many capacities ,joined a spiritual "community" in the United States, and was a professional flamenco guitarist as well as playing in a blues band. I worked as a courier, was personal driver to director Ridley Scott during the movie "1492- Conquest of Paradise" and worked for several years for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (The RSPCA). During my time there I was a charity shop manager and branch administrator before becoming an animal collection officer first for the local branch and then for the national society.
I have lived in Costa Rica, various parts of the United States and the United Kingdom. None of this is necessarily in the correct chronological order. It is just how I remember it at the time of writing! As you can see, I have had a very broad spectrum of experience, both environmental and social and during this time experienced both extremes of the emotional pendulum. To say I have experienced depression is an understatement and to say I have been on a high is not to do the truly good times justice. I now reside in Birmingham, England where I live with my fiancée Melek.
