Old school video game fans loved to play Centipede out in the arcades, and when the game was ported to the Atari 7800 console, they found a home version that was much like the arcade version. Back in the day, you couldn't ask for anything more.

The Castlevania series of video games has been rocking the world for more than 25 years now, and for most gamers their first experience with Castlevania was through the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) home gaming console. The original Castlevania rocked then and it still rocks today.
In the early days of home video games, players were limited when it came to playing military style games. "Combat" from Atari was pretty simple to play, and not bad, but "Armor Battle" had stronger graphics and some unique qualities for the Intellivision console.

The Colecovision was the pride and joy of many video game fans in the early 1980s, and quality graphics such as with the home version of Zaxxon proved why. The port of the arcade classic Zaxxon to the Colecovision was one of the first home versions of the game to get the graphics right.
Controversy sometimes surrounds the Preditors & Editors site, but that's to be expected when the site's goals are to help writers and to warn writers away from potential scams and those who practice possibly troubling business practices within the publishing industry.
Borders has announced it will closing all of it stores and the company is going out of business. While this is obviously sad for many readers and writers, there is a silver lining to be found.
What is cumin? It's a plant, and its seeds when ground up are used in recipes throughout the world. You might have seen cumin seeds on pizza back in school. Or maybe not. Either way, cumin has more than a few health benefits for the human body.
In the early days of computer gaming, "Scarab of Ra" stands out as a classic game for the Macintosh computers from Apple. "Scarab of Ra" introduced many players to three-dimensional graphics (of sorts) and gaming that involved more than just shooting the next bad guy.
It is possible for a new author to move a surprising amount of books at a signing.

I had a Maine Coon for 14 years. Never new what they were til my vet told me. I found him at the animal rescue. He was my best friend and the most beautiful cat you have ever seen. Still miss him 6 years later. I would recommend Maine Coons to any animal lover.

Interesting. I myself am a writer, but I only do it on the side. Also, I've only written online articles. I have thought about writing novels, however, so this was good to read.

Loved your article! Love it. Yes, if all authors would just listen to the Literary Police, the market wouldn't be flooded with self-published tomes, some of them quite good.

for How Ebooks Can Help You Succeed In Your Job or Business on 20th, Dec 2010
Ron, great article. As an online article writer and e-book author, I have to agree that e-books can be quite helpful. But hey, that's how I make my living, so what else am I going to say? :-)
Also, about the audio books vs. e-books ... I don't know about all e-readers, but my Kindle has a setting in which a voice will read an e-book to you. The voice isn't the best, being somewhat computerized, but you have some options in what the voice sounds like. I'm sure such voices in e-readers will only get better, which means e-books quite possibly could replace audio books in the future.

for Online Writers Have to Know When to Cut Back on 2nd, Sep 2010
Tammy, sorry, I can't answer that one. So far, I've always had enough on the card to cover the $3 fee, so I'm not sure what happens if you don't have enough money. I'm guessing the card account goes into negative numbers, then takes the money as soon as it's sent from RedGage.
for Online Writers Have to Know When to Cut Back on 1st, Sep 2010
Tammy, I really, really like RedGage, but I would suggest against joining them at this time. That $3 fee comes off the card. But the main reason I'd suggest staying away from RedGage right now is because for the last couple of weeks the site has been extremely slow, often not even loading, or worse, waiting until you've completed an article and then failing. It's gotten to the point it's beyond a mere annoyance. With time, the RedGage crew will probably take care of this, but it seems they were not prepared for the level of traffic they've been getting.

To babygirl's comments: You need to copy and past your writings from Word or plain text (or whatever program you use) into Triond's editor. There's even a "Paste from Word" and "Paste from Plain Text" tool on Triond's tool bar, but I usually just copy and past directly into the editing text box. Word of warning, though: Don't hook up any links in your article until you've pasted it into the Triond editor. Otherwise, problems might ensue. They might not, too, but it's usually better to be safe than sorry.
for I Have Accepted The 1000 Article Challenge on 14th, Jul 2010
woofy, if babygirl doesn't mind, I'll try to answer your questions for you. 1.) Yes, you can publish the same articles on Bukisa and Triond. However, the articles have to appear on Triond first because Triond accepts only original material. Once articles have been published on Triond, then they can be published on Bukisa. 2.) Yes, you can promote your existing articles on Triond without having to republish them elsewhere. But republishing articles can bring you more readers and more money, so why not do it? Just remember to always post the articles first on Triond. Hope this helps! Any other questions, just PM me.
for I Have Accepted The 1000 Article Challenge on 7th, Jul 2010
Good luck! 1000 articles is a lot, but it's not impossible. When I first started writing on Bukisa and Triond more than a year ago, I was writing 7 or 8 articles a day for my first month. Eventually I had to slow down to 1 or 2 a day because I had other writing commitments to meet. But it can be done!
