I am a stay-at-home, married, mother of four wonderful children. Two daughters in high school, one son about to start high school and another son about to start grade 6. I have a loving husband and a great home in Ontario, Canada.
I love to knit, crochet, read and watch movies. I also enjoy playing piano and drawing. I have three blogs of my own which are:
I am new to vegetarianism (almost 2 years now) and I love animals even though I do not have any pets.
I have had Fibromyalgia for the past ten years and it has been a horrible experience and something that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I have to deal with it everyday, and so does my family. Hopefully one day they will find a cure and I can get back to a normal life. Until then I have to be happy the way I am, or at least try.

One afternoon this Spring I was watching Oprah on t.v. and there was a woman being interviewed about her blog. At the time I didn't really know what a blog was. Yes, I had seen blogs while I was on the computer, but I really didn't know what a blog

Fibromyalgia is not all in your head...
by jedopi | in Health & Nutrition > Diseases & Conditions
it’s in your arms, your legs, your back, and your head. I know a lot of doctors don’t believe that Fibromyalgia is real. It seems that only Rheumatologists will listen to our many, unending complaints. I know for a fact that it is real because I have suffered for ten years because of it.

Crocheted Gumby
by jedopi | in Hobbies & Crafts > Crafts
Do you remember the tv show from the 1970's with Gumby and Pokey? It was one of the first claymation shows made. I used to love watching the show when I was little and now, believe it or not, my sons love it too.

But I Just Did the Laundry Yesterday!
by jedopi | in Family > General
Do you ever get the feeling that you are chained to your washing machine? Or do you feel that you should send out change of address cards to state that you have permanently moved into the laundry room of your house? Do you ever even see the other rooms of your home.

Veggie Chili - You'll Never Miss the Meat
by jedopi | in Food & Drinks > Vegetarian
This is my own version of vegetarian chili. I know there are lots of them out there, but mine is fast, easy and best of all delicious. Give it a try, I'm sure you will love it. Even the meat eaters in my family like it.
I haven't added any favorites yet.

I have heard that google adsense drops people without warning. Usually it's because something in the TOS was infringed, but they don't even mail you to warn you about it. After all, the violation could be accidental and they should give people a chance to fix it. Considering most blogs don't even start to make decide money until after their 6month mark, they probably thought you were cheating. However, it could just be that you had very good readers. They really should give people a chance. Triond wasn't that great for me, bukisa seems better. However I will agree that there's less of a friendly nature here. I should know - I'm one of those unfriendly people. I rarely ever comment. (this is like a first in MONTHS I've commented). Squidoo and Hubpages aren't that bad. I've made about 15$ in adsense from hubpages and about 8$ in amazon. In squidoo I've made like 40-60$ (I haven't been keeping track, but around that time). I'm not a great hubber/squidooer but I've earned a tiny bit from them. I did have some helium success (about 70$ ever), but with my star rating shot (and I don't know why), I'm not gonna be back there very soon. I too don't have much online luck. Apart from textbroker, where I've already earned 50+ bucks in the past two months by only doing about 1 article every couple of days, it does seem to come slowly. I am now running a project where I'm now keeping track of advertising, cross promotion,etc... Maybe if I pay attention, I'll realize what I'm doing wrong. I've already learned that articles with proper keyword research can get traffic in a matter of days (like one of my recent bukisa articles has already earn 22 cents even though it's only like 1 week old). Just ..don't give up. PS. Epinions is having a pay per post promo right now (December 2009 in case future readers are wondering). They're paying 0.75 - 1.5$ per review for this month. If you're in the US you can participate. 10$ minimum in order to receive a check. max of 150 reviews can be written.

This is a heart-warming story. PM me. Maybe we can put our heads together and get some real money.

Fibromyalgia is a miserable, misunderstood disease. I have been sick with it for far longer than I had realized when it finally brought my life to a complete standstill. Now it all makes sense, when no one could explain why all I could do was sleep for a week while having a mild fever (99.9) the doctors said it was the flu, but what flu manifests itself as sleeping? Atypical Bursitis, strains and sprains that made no sense, walking into walls and door frames....etc. When I got really sick I had one doctor ask me why I was wasting his time as there was nothing wrong with me!!! Thank you for sharing your story here, you and I are kindred spirits in this painful lifetime, we live and love but can not do what others around us do

Excellent Article! As far as the summary I think I can help- copy your title and look it up in the search box at the top of the Bukisa page. The first result should be your article. You should see your summary along with the title of your review. I think that is where it is. You can always go back and put the summary into the article then type out a short new summary to replace it.

I remember the cartoon very well. I used to watch it all the time along with The Pink Panther, The Commander Tom Show, Underdog, Adam Ant, Touche Turtle and many more. Cartoons now are so different. There are very few that I can stand watching along with my children unless they are Disney or Pixar.

Hi Louie, remember me from Triond? I like your article on potatoes, but what in the world is Marmite? I've never heard of it. I live in Canada and I don't think I've ever seen it in my life. What does it taste like?

Bukisa - Where is the short summary for my article? I've asked you a couple of times now and it is still missing. The beginning of my article doesn't make sense without it. Can someone else please tell me how I can fix this problem? I go into edit and the short summary is there, but when you go here to read it online, it is gone again. Please help, I am new to Bukisa.

Hi Simon, I am new to Bukisa and I was told by a member to contact you for help. I'm not sure if this is the way to do it or not, but I cannot find the answer to my questions in the Help Section - seeing as there really isn't one yet. I had one of my articles published but the short summary is totally missing from the published version. It makes my article seem as if it is missing something - which it is. It doesn't really make sense the way it was published. Could you PLEASE advise me on what to do. I really can't figure out how to fix the problem. Why is there no way of sending questions to the administrators of Bukisa? Thanks a lot. jedopi

for Why I Am an Ex-Vegetarian on 1244472766
I would like to know where you heard about stunning? What makes you think that all animals are slaughtered in this manner? I'm sure that you know more about the vegetarian lifestyle as you were raised that way and I have only been doing it for the past year and a half but I still think that the animals suffer needlessly for our sake. There are so many other food options out there, why should we murder to fill our bellies? And besides what makes you think that the stunning itself does not hurt?

I am a lacto ovo vegetarian and at least once a month I have salmon because of my vitamin d level being too low. My doctor says that I should have it more often, but I cannot bring myself to do it. It is true that being vegetarian makes you thin. I can attest to that. I have been vegetarian for almost two years and I haven't lost an ounce.

for how to keep on living with Fibromyalgia on 1244211437
Thanks for the tips. I have had Fibromyalgia for almost ten years now and it can be unbearable. What makes it worse is when you feel like no one even believes you. Sometimes I feel that if I am not limping one day, everyone assumes that I feel better. Wrong! Just because I'm not limping that doesn't mean that I still don't have the stabbing pains in my legs, back, head and eyes. It also doesn't mean that I still don't have the sensation of ants crawling up my back or water dripping down my legs. Fibromyalgia is so much more than just pain. I really wish it was more understood. It seems like the only people who truly understand are the ones who have it also.
