dalia4world on Childrens behavior, who is to blame? on 19th, Jul 2009
that was a long read.. I read it, because I am currently babysitting 2 girls, and the older one is very mean to her younger sister (but not at all when she is with her parents). I am not punishing in any way, I do not believe in punishments, and her parents are already punishing all the time, though not too consistent, sometimes the girl is on time out for nothing, and sometimes she can do quite nasty things and get away with it (the mother is much more forgiving).

kylaerin on Are children responsible for their grades? on 13th, Jan 2009
I think that the parent can only do so much. My little cousin has failed twice and his home life is fine. My aunt does discipline him for his bad grades and makes him do his homework but when he gets to school he does not turn it in. Basically he admits that he is lazy. A parent can try but they can't spoon feed their child all day every day to do what they are supposed to do.
kylaerin on Toy weapons good or bad? on 13th, Jan 2009
I think that children should not play with toy gun or knives. I think it sets off the wrong image. Children have a hard time telling the difference between real life and make believe. I think that is why so many children are hurt with guns. They see people on TV get shot and get right back up and they can't understand the finality of what they are doing.
