David Blondeau on 9 ways to make friends in a new town/country on 3rd, Jun 2010
I would opt for volunteer work or evening courses. They're the easiest ways to be part of the group. Using couchsurfing.org to meet people is a good idea, but it's mostly for travelers, no? Do a lot of people attend the local CS meetups?

hi dalia, thanks for adding me,i added you as well. regarding your question, i think they are both essential(content and marketing), but basically, no matter how good you are in marketing if the content's topic is saturated or too familiar it will certainly will not draw large views.. if you are not so good in marketing but you have good contents-someone will market it for you that's for sure...
for Asia’s Most Popular Foods on 26th, Jul 2009
I love Asian food, what about the recipes? Btw, I got to know Biryani as Indian, but it is, by no means, popular in different countries (brought by Indians, I suppose). I think, the unbeatable by popularity is simply rice :)

for The Hard Work of Promoting Content on 23rd, Jul 2009
Well, I think it is better to write, because all those tricky marketing actions is just dumb work. I don't earn any money, but fine, I can do without it, and I am not going to spend too much time on promotion. If I see that 100 people read my article, then it means that it was worth the try :)
for Top 10 Interviewing Tips For Job Seekers on 23rd, Jul 2009
good tips, but once I arrived 10 min too early, and they were having a meeting... nothing bad happened, but, I think, better to arrive just a couple of minutes before. I'm now on a (too long) job hunt, got some tips, too :)
for How to Change Your Child or Teen's Behavior on 19th, Jul 2009
I like it, but I still dont know how to make a girl (not my own) to be nice with her younger sister. When she's with me, she is horrible. WIth her parents, she is totally different.
for Childrens behavior, who is to blame? on 19th, Jul 2009
that was a long read.. I read it, because I am currently babysitting 2 girls, and the older one is very mean to her younger sister (but not at all when she is with her parents). I am not punishing in any way, I do not believe in punishments, and her parents are already punishing all the time, though not too consistent, sometimes the girl is on time out for nothing, and sometimes she can do quite nasty things and get away with it (the mother is much more forgiving).

What about mount Kinabalu, Malaysia? I loved it! Great for beginners. Not really a rustic experience, but something that will leave you hungry for more, if you have never done it before. 4km, quite easy, but the last 2-3 hours are tough as they should be :) My story about climbing Kinabalu here: http://www.bukisa.com/articles/110236_mountain-climbing-for-beginners-and-not-only-mount-kinabalu-borneo. I linked to your article from mine.
for Vacations On A Budget - Great Tips For Paying Less For Your Holiday on 19th, Jul 2009
hey, you have plenty of great tips! I also do budget traveling... no article on Bukisa yet but should come soon:) an advice for you - imho, it would be easier to read trough a more structured content, e.g., a list. You have good ideas there, and it is a pity that no views yet, I hope soon Bukisa will be read by more :) Well, at least those articles that are readable, there's also quite a lot of not so good quality stuff, lightly speaking.
