About Me:

Christine Stoddard is a writer and interdisciplinary artist from Arlington, VA. She has interest and experience in writing fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, plays, and arts & entertainment articles (primarily fashion). Christine also likes to write and illustrate comics, make collages, and act.


Her writing and artwork have appeared in books (most recently Candlewick Press's Falling Hard: 100 Love Poems by Teenagers), literary journals, magazines, newspapers, and websites, both locally and nationally. Miss Stoddard has interned for several companies and organizations, including Washington Life magazine, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Washington.Newsweek Interactive. She has also appeared in several student and independent films and videos.

As for her educational background, Christine graduated with honors from Yorktown High School in 2007 after completing dual-enrollment courses at Northern Virginia Community College. Currently, she's studying at VCU Arts after transferring from Grinnell College in Iowa.
