About Me: I enjoy writing about topics I'm familar with, sharing my experiences. I operated my own pest control company from age 21 to 41 and also became a licensed over the counter stock broker in the interim of my self employment. Later I decided to switch careers again and I entered the mortgage industry remaining in it for 12 years taking on various positions as I went along to learn the business. Some of the positions I held were loan officer, processor, underwriter, wholesale account represenative and midwest regional sales manager for a wholesale mortgage lender. I also enjoyed working as a marketing director for a finance company. I've had numerous personal interests throughout my life as well such as oil painting, piano playing, writing poetry and songs and also enjoy home remodeling. My heart however belongs to the restoration of old classic cars. Taking what some may call a piece of junk and making it look and drive like new again! Currently I am self employed as a freelance writer and classic car restorer.
