More of Mine

  • Anawangin Cove, Zambales,The View Deck

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

I wondered why the photos of Anawangin Cove that I see online are shots from the top. I didn't know that there’s actually a view deck. No one mentioned it in blogs that I’ve read. It always seemed like an areal shot from hiking Mt. Pundaquit. Truth is, the view deck is only about 5-10 minutes of trekking.

  • Anawangin Cove, Zambales, The Open Field

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

Our tour guide took us to the Anawangin Cove’s open field at the back of the island. It’s a nice place to play frisbee! He said wild tamaraws roam freely there. Too bad they were not around when we came.

  • Pole Dancing? Why Not? Only in Dumaguete City

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

For a simple fun, I think could be the place for you. Most of the people I know who visited Dumaguete City would come to Why Not? to have fun. So the next time you visit Dumaguete City, don't forget to try pole dancing, it's free, it's fun, so why not?

  • Anawangin Cove, The River / Swamp

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

There were barbed wires fencing off the river of Anawangin Cove from visitors. One of our tour guides said there used to be no fence. The fence is probably because of the typhoon Frank incident where the river rose and produced massive flash floods. But the beauty at this part of the Anawangin Cove should not be missed.

  • Anawangin Cove - The Beach

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

I’ve been to a lot of beaches before, and this, by far, is one of my favorites. Alighting the boat, the calm and clean water. Walk towards the white sand shoreline, rows and columns of tall Agoho trees, behind is ab ankle deep river. Surrounding them as if embracing them is a green and yellow gold mountains.

  • Getting to Anawangin Cove, Zambales

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

I’ve heard about it so much. Friends recommended it to me several times. They showed me photos of the beach. Yes, it was lovely. Since it’s only in Zambales in North Luzon, I decided to go for it. I was determined to conquer Anawangin Cove.

  • Traveling the Philippines

by altumviditur | in Travel > Asia

Traveling the world educates the traveler about different cultures, races, languages, flora, fauna, arts, and a whole lot of different wonders. But I can learn some of that in my own country too, the Philippines, with more than 7,000 islands, we may have more than 7,000 beaches, sunsets, festivities, dishes, arts, and a whole lot of different wonders too.
