I am 42 years old and live in the same small town where I was born!  I have three sisters and one brother, my mother is deceased and my dad is still with us, thanks to a heart transplant he received in 1997.  I have extended family all over the USA.

I am an animal lover, and started dragging animals home at a very young age to "save " them, everything from a neighbors horse (thats a story in itself!) to snakes. I have held many jobs over the years, always looking for a better-paying job to support myself and my son.  I recall having to give up the job I loved the most at a Humane Society because they couldnt afford to pay me enough to keep us from starving.  Now I volunteer for another Humane Society and enjoy it immensely!

My son is now 26 and married and I am a grandmother to a strapping baby boy named Deylan! Sadly, I have yet to hold my grandbaby.

I have always wanted to write a book, or write articles for a magazine. I love to write and maybe now, I can make that dream come true!  With that said, I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up!
