Shatoma
Shatoma last signed in Aug 18 2009 and has been on Bukisa since Jan 30, 2009.
I am retired, but definitely actively busy writing articles, teaching crafts, and helping my daughter run her business.
I was an administrator in the corporate world for many years, and after I retired I did craft shows and started teaching some of my crafts.
I make pine needle baskets and carve gourds. I sell them at shows, in galleries across the US, and have won ribbons for them.
I am currently working on a children's book, which I hope to be able to publish. I just started writing articles on some of my hobbies and interests.
I have done just about every kind of craft, and taught ceramics, porcelain doll making, Native American crafts, basket making, gourd craft, beading, leather work, and the list goes on. I also enjoy rockhounding and fossil hunting and have even done a little amateur archaeology.
