I am 25 yrs old with a son born in Dec. 07, 3 cats, and a 150 lb rotti/german shephard. My hubby and I are high school sweetheart from NJ. We've dated since Aug. 99 and married May 05. We joke that I had the full "military wife training" -JROTC in high school, the Citadel & ROTC in college, 2 yrs as a 2nd LT's wife in flight school, now a 1st LT's wife in Space and Missiles. We've lived in CA, FL, NJ, and SC. We moved to North Dakota in April! We vacation and travel a lot. I cook, bake, write, host and plan various types of events! My hobbies center around food, glorious food. I am not picky about types of food just the quality of the ingredients. I spent time in culinary school. Catering, Baking and Creating Wedding Cakes Professionally. I also had the honor to be related to and learn from one of the greatest chefs in my world, Robert Pastorio. He was my grandfather and the one of the strongest mentors you could pick, careerwise. I have been working in the hospitality and culinary industry for 15 years. I am an expert in nothing...I believe that if you consider yourself an expert you have stopped looking for new knowledge. Therefore I am still a student of life, gastronomy and myself. I enjoy suspense and crime shows like the CSIs or Law & Orders. I have to see every Food Network challenge. I read food writing, cookbooks, food magazines, & now baby books. Dr. Suess seems to be a new favorite in our house.
How To Make Cheap Party Appetizers
Appetizers are great but can get expensive. I avoid all the expense by starting with the basics like homemade spiced nuts, pretzels and chips are great fillers in your appetizer buffet. No one can resist appetizer munchies and they fill you up quick. Just make sure there are drinks nearby.
