Baptism in the Name of Jesus [Yeshua]
Matthew 28: 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." NOTE: this statement has been used to support the doctrine of the "Trinity," but is this true? The passage does 'NOT' say in

The Book of the Law of God
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
The Torah ("Law") was given to the prophet Moses by the Lord God from Mount Sinai on two stone tablets. The Jewish religion contains hundreds of rules, ordinances, commandments, statutes, and regulations to cover almost every aspect of life; so, it seems unlikely this information could have been written down in a book in that generation.

Was Jesus really Crucified on
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
Christendom celebrates one of its most holiest days as Easter [Sunday morning], which our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth rose from the grave and conquered death. Since Jesus [Yeshua] Himself mentioned that He would be in the heart of the earth for three days and nights, it is unlikely that He was crucified on Friday and rose on Sunday.

The Seven Churches of Asia Minor in the Book of Revelation
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
The book of REVELATION has been for some readers like the "DaVinci Code;" just as mysterious, enigmatic, and confusing. Interpretations vary as to whether the events mentioned therein are spiritual, literal, or a combination of both. The one thing that is not talked about much is the region that is emphasized, namely, in the Middle East; Turkey to be exact.

Are Tacoma mayoral candidates closet Christians?
by Randle51 | in Culture & Society > Politics
Have we become so cynical in our political discourse and social values such that identification as a Christian is seen as a liability? One would think that a life dedicated to Christ's Gospel would be seen as a valuable asset but nowadays,if one is a Child of God they might as well hang a left to the nearest EXIT.

Have the gifts
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
It is an almost unanimous agreement among all Bible-believing Christians that miraculous manifestations of the Holy Spirit happened in the beginnings of the Church; but what about today? Were these examples just for the First Century believers but is no longer necessary today because we have the completed Canon of Scripture?

What are the Commandments that Christians are supposed to keep?
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
Jesus told the disciples in John 14: 15, "If you love Me you will keep My commandments," but exactly what are they? Yes, we know that Jesus told the "Twelve" to love one another but besides all of this, what rules are believers supposed to live by in this present world?

Do you have the "Faith" to be healed?
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
Every believing Christian will agree upon the importance of 'faith' in obtaining salvation and the forgiveness of sins. The bigger question is when the unexpected happens and you are facing that life-changing event where you are hurting and received the worst and most painful news imaginable, do you still have the necessary 'faith' to be healed?

Can God find just ten righteous souls?
by Randle51 | in Religion & Spirituality > Christianity
Most believers have heard sermons or studied in Bible class about God's punishment against Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis, chapters 18-19.The lesson here is not so much the type of sin that the people in these cities engaged in but rather the presence or lack thereof, of the righteous saints to make a difference.

Elizabeth Edwards: Don't feel sorry for me
by Randle51 | in Relationships > General
Few of us would forgive an indiscretion and it seems that for others, we wear our feelings on our shoulders. There is such an emphasis on "Love," that loyalty is often overlooked. Someone might say that to love a person is to be loyal to them, but that is only wishful thinking because both terms are exclusive of the other.
