The code you gave to check ads are in place is only if you are not in one of the Chitika supporrted countries, if you are in UK,USA or most European countries you will be able to see Chitika ads anyway. Chitika ads are not seen in unsupported countries at all (Australia, South Africa, ISrael, India, CHina and many many more won't see any Chitika ads)

I think the problem with Adbrite is the same as Chitika, that the Ads can only be seen from certain countries. I have Adbrite and have made 0.76 in a year! no point, views are easier to get than advert clicks.

I agree Bukisa is now going to be problematic. From my experience with AdSense on my blog I have very low expectations, I might also leave Bukisa. I write for Triond, Factoidz, Helium and Bukisa and Factoidz pays more by far. I just hope the other writing sites don't also change to this system. Triond has AdSense and page views which is much better.

You are going at the best time in my opinion. You can take a walk out onto the frozen river at night by yourselves. There are lots of unique activities in this area try as many as you can and make sure you go out at nights to look for the northern lights. If you want to have any alcohol while you are there you need to order it from the tourist info office, and then it arrives the next day! In the center of town you will find the Inari Hotel, Lake&Snow; and Tourist Info in a row. Best thing to do is to get chatting with the locals. If you have more than a week try going across to Kirona in Sweden and the Ice Hotel.
