ELAINE SIHERA, nicknamed Ms CYPRAH or Cyber-Oprah by friends: own website, Elaine's Den, is a top British writer. A former education manager, magazine editor and diversity consultant, she is the prolific author of six books and nearly 900 articles on emotional health, self-empowerment and diversity management. An Internet agony aunt, freelance broadcaster and columnist, Elaine is also the Change Expert for FiiftyForward, being a very keen advocate of changing perceptions on ageing and boosting people's feelings about themselves. Her latest website is  My Journey With Barack Obama consisting of over 120 articles she wrote on the new President during his campaign.
She's also the founder of the British Diversity Awards and the Windrush Achievement Awards and the first person to give a lecture on diversity matters to MPs in the British House of Commons. Retired early through a debilitating illness, Elaine now does freelance work. She lives in Berkshire, UK, and has two kidults: André, a computer programmer, and Nicole, a psychologist.
