M.A.Aikens last signed in Oct 25 2009 and has been on Bukisa since Oct 13, 2009.
Having been the daughter of a Coast Guard Captain, wife to a Marine (now retired) and mother to three sons now serving, Margaret's life has been spent in the military presence. From bases overseas to those all along the Eastern Seaboard, she has dealt with all aspects of the military family lifestyle including pay issues, deployments and base information per location. Currently living with her husband in Douglasville, Georgia, they own seven animals most of whom are adopted who show their appreciation by peeing on furniture and tearing up pillows. Margaret is currently a contributing writer for a local publication and one day hopes to be a grown up writer and not use spell check quite so much. Margaret can be found on most days, lately anyway, waiting by the phone for article confirmations, chasing after animals and waiting to hear from her three marvelous sons.
