We have all enjoyed Christmas and New Years and all the food that goes with it and sometimes is accumulates lol… Here are a few tips to get us back to a brand new look for spring!
It used to be so easy to fall asleep. No sooner would my head hit the pillow... that's all it would take. But, not any more.
St. Patrick's Day is behind us and it's time to decorate the mantle for Easter and this is probably one of the easiest decorating project you will find. You can probably find everything you need right in your Easter decorating box or from your local Dollar Store.
Pick and choose between the items below. Depending on the size of your mantel, you can choose as many as you wish. And once you have chosen the items that appeal to you, be sure to move them around until you get just the right look. I don't think that my mantle ever looks the same from one year to the next.
During the war years, life went on just as it does today. People have babies, women have baby showers and little tidbits are served. If you were to step back in time, you might have been served these little finger sandwiches. Here's how you make them...
It's pretty easy to make a batch of Lemonade... well it's just as easy to turn it into a cake. All you need is a cake mix and a few other ingredients. Baking was never so easy ;)
You might think that I'm talking about my kids saying something like that, but it's me who hates to sit in a car for hours on end. So, to keep peace in the car... and yes I have been known to throw a shoe over the front seat, I have come up with a plan!
Everyone loves to eat out, but it can get very expensive if you don't do your homework. Personally I love to eat out. First of all, someone else does the cooking and then someone else clears the table. And if that's not enough, you don't have a messy kitchen to take care of the next day!
So, if this appeals to you, there are lots of little tricks to make it affordable.
When it comes to giving gifts, a simple lemon loaf is gratefully received because you took the time to make it yourself. It's a lot easier to head off to the mall and buy something, but to take the time to make something with love is so much nicer!
And the recipe is incredibly easy too!

for Common Hair Care Mistakes Which Damage Your Hair on 3rd, Apr 2010
Guilty of using a towel and I knew about the damage that it can cause... thanks for the reminder. I'm also bad for trying to get in and out of the shower too quickly which can often leave shampoo and conditioner residue in my hair. Another good reminder :)
for Your Cadbury Easter Eggs Are Finished on 3rd, Apr 2010
Easter at our house wouldn't be Easter without Cadbury Creme Eggs and it is getting harder and harder to find the ones made in England. This year we were lucky, but just how old are they?? I'm curious about all the different flavors!! Suddenly craving chocolate! :)
