About Me: I was born in 1966 and have lived in the Northeast United States all of my life. I have two children: Alexander, born 6/28/93 and Norma born 8/7/95. I have had two careers during my adult life including professional saxophonist and teacher; and information systems administrator (alright, more than two if you count driving taxi and limousine and stocking shelves in a department store). I produced two compact discs. I've played in various Latin musical groups, been around the world on cruise ships, toured the US with musical theater companies, gigged at the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, been a member of the New England Jazz Ensemble and performed at the wedding of H.M. King Mohammed VI in Morocco. I currently work as a Network Engineer for a very large NGO (non-governmental organization). As Network Manager, I am directly responsible for the care and feeding of several dozen physical and virtual servers, a domestic WAN infrastructure, a messaging system, internal network infrastructure, security, databases, a storage area network, a virtual network cluster, a disaster recovery NOC and am currently playing a key role in integrating messaging and systems globally.
