I am located in the Central US (Wizard of Oz territory). I love dogs and puppies and almost everything I do is related to dogs, Yorkshire Terriers and Dachshunds in particular. I work from home and work harder than I ever did while employed by someone else. But, now I enjoy what I do. How many of you can say that?

I breed Yorkshire Terriers and Miniature Dachshunds. Our kennel is named Carlar's Cuties. We have been breeding Yorkies for 14 years and Dachshunds for 5 years. We have six little Yorkies that share our home full time. I would probably have all of them in the house with us if my husband would allow it.

I eventually branched out into opening our first online pet boutique, Carlars Cuties Dog Boutique. I discovered that I loved internet retail sales. Plus there was the added bonus of getting to see all the new clothes and jewels we could get for our own dogs. After a couple of years my daughter joined me and we opened Dog Lover Boutique. When it became established we decided to open our third pet boutique, Prissy Pup Boutique. It is still a work in progress. Lots of wonderful and exciting products to get listed for sale. During the course of promoting our online boutiques I discovered an old love, writing. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed writing and knowing that people were reading and (hopefully) enjoying what I had written. So now I get to write again. Only this time I am writing about my newer loves, Dogs and Puppies and Pet Products.
