I have taught three different levels of school; junior high, high school and college. My favorite age group is the college level student. At this age the student is beginning to grow up and understand what it means to listen, learn and apply his or her self.  I fill with pride whenever I see one of my ex-students employed as an RN in one of our hospitals. I take credit in helping them achieve this goal. However, I have many fond memories of my junior high and high school students.

I also worked for twelve years in social services; and at this position I wrote self-sufficiency programs, facilitated the Self-sufficiency Workshops and did counseling.  One of my assignments was working with clients to help them obtain their GED and move on to college. This was a very rewarding position

knowing I helped a client from Welfare to Work.

Now I have retired and I need to fill my life with helping people help them self; so I am looking to get back in to the educational system or social service work. Some of these students I had the pleasure of  teaching at the college level.
