I'm a native Floridian, former journalist, magazine writer and editor, publisher and poet.

Recently, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing (Antioch Univ LA, 2008) and am making a turn from poetry to prose. I've written for a number of online sites, maintain three blogs, manage a wiki, and also work full time at a community college.

this is all true and enjoyed this article alot.I really don't get writers block,I'm usually trying to write 2 or 3 projects and once and the somehow intertwine.But out of the mess,usually comes a story,poem or article that is so far off of what I was working on Ii liked alot better.I got a truckers story trying to piece out a lengthy article about love and another one about roses....go figure.The trucker trilogy did better then the original two.

Your advice is a very good one. High performing employees are sometimes stifled because of jealousy from their own supervisors/managers. Instead of working in unity they tends to give unbelievable timetable and then this employee becomes miserable and uncomfortable at the workplace. These employees are rare and in between and so whenever they come to the workplace Managers and supervisors should encourage them in a positive way.
