About Me: As I said in my first poem, my name is Amber. I am 26 years old and live in Tennessee. I was born with spina bifida. I used to be able to walk with crutches or a walker, but since the 9th grade, I have been confined to a wheelchair because I lost all muscle control in my legs. I try not to let all that get me down though. I try to think positive about things. I keep trying to find things that I can do and do them well. That's one reason why I started writing poems. Another reason is I just one day sat down and started writing down my feelings about certain things that have happened and that's how it got really going. I love to be outside, go camping, fishing, watch nascar, hang out with friends, watch tv, listen to music and read. Other than that there's not really a whole lot to tell. I hope that those of you who read this enjoy it. Thanks.
