HI! Welcome to my story!
I love to write, and I also love helping other people improve their writing abilities. I am currently disabled due to major spinal cord damage. I was a technical writer for 13 years, mostly in the medical imagery and supply, as well as the aerospace simulation and drone industries. I wrote and taught training courses on flight simulators, troubleshooting simulators, remote drones and heads-up displays.
I have 2 three-year college diplomas (Technical Writing Technology and Computer Systems Engineering Technician), and am two credits short of a third, three-year College diploma (Computer Science Enineering Technology).
I am presently a chronic pain sufferer, heavily medicated 24/7. I look to writing for something to keep my mind sharp, and my body busy. I have won an international journalism award through the Knight Center for International Media, for 1H2O, and have been published over 50 times in recognizable magazines and web sites.
Unless directly approached by a manufacturer or publisher, there is not much call for technical writing in online venues like Bukisa, Associated Content, Helium.com, or most of the other writer's sites running rampant on the Internet. With that in mind, I try to vary my writing styles and the audiences that I write to, both to stimulate my mind, and to broaden my writing skills. I am a mentor and steward in other online writing sites, and contribute regularly to three other sites by helping writers to improve their work.
Whoever said there was no money to be made writing on the Internet either stuck with blogging, just was not that good of a writer to begin with, or did not have the patience to build up a large portfolio of articles. Do not expect tmuch with under a thousand articles, published in at least three sites.
If there are any articles that you would like to see written, under any sugject and to any desired spefifications, do not hesitate to contact me. I will work for rate, or on a per-word basis if you prefer. I write about camping and fishing gear, travel and real estate, and I write product reviews for another website.
I hope you enjoy the random musings that trickle out of my brain. Sometimes I make sense, and sometimes I make cents. If you are not happy with the money you make writing, then you are not a real writer. Writers write because they have something to say, not something to earn (journalists excepted and admired).

Travel is something that has been embedded into our genes, our social fabric and our dreams. We dream of travel while at work, and while traveling, work is the furthest thing from our minds, showing that we do, indeed, have our priorities straight. But when it comes to destinations, everybody
