Who are politicians? What are politicians?

Politicians in the United Kingdom have shown themselves to be an untrustworthy band of mercenaries and I want to see them punished. However they won't face consequences for their actions which makes it all the more important for the electorate to be aware of their despicable conduct.

I am appalled and disgusted by the financially underhand behaviour that our so called United Kingdom political representatives have seen fit to indulge in.  In addition the fact that they also had the audacity to try and prevent the people of this country from discovering their disgusting activities is both shocking and patronising in the extreme.

These people used their positions to feather their own nests, whilst spinning us a fairy tale of selfless giving and most certainly no receiving.  We were led to believe that they were our servants existing on a meagre salary, and doing their best to represent us.  And there was also the question of our worthiness for such extreme dedication.  Do we deserve such selflessness?  No certainly not.  We are unworthy of representation by such fine upstanding men and women.

Lets see how the government treat people who are perceived to have committed a financial crime, if you are overpaid tax credits then prepare to be hounded within an inch of your life and face repayment no matter whether or not you can afford it.  When the 'canoe’ couple were found guilty of defrauding an insurance company, they were treated like the scum of the earth.  The newspapers ripped them to shreds, and we were told it was our duty to be angry and deeply hurt by their actions.  They were imprisoned, and everybody heaved a huge sigh of relief that justice was done and seen to be done.

I want to know when we can expect justice to be done and seen to be done.  Will we get the chance to read the details of the crimes committed against us by the people we paid to represent us?  Will they be sentenced?  NO.  The sad fact we must accept is that they will never face justice because their expenses are ‘legal’.  They are legal because they exist in a system established by those who use the system, and policed by those who use and abuse it.

Don't you wish you were an MP.  You could get your moat cleaned for free, rent blue movies again for free, build a free tennis court and get your mortgage cleared.  You mighn't even know your mortgage has been cleared and think of the surprise and happiness when you realise.  Aw bliss.

LETS NAME AND SHAME THE THIEVES.
