20 Things You Didn't Know About Baking Soda
Although there are more expensive products in the market today, baking soda is still very much reliable when it comes to cleaning, cooking, beauty, and so many others.
- If you have clogged drains, pour a cup of baking soda down the drain and afterwards pour at least 3 cups of boiling water. This will keep the drains running well. You can also add vinegar if you have a really tough clog in your drain.
- It can also be used to soften your clothes. It can save you a lot of money because it's much cheaper than buying a fabric softener.
- It can also help in minimizing the odor in your garbage bins. Just sprinkle a generous amount on the bottom of your bins before you replace the garbage bags.
- Clean your refrigerator and freezer with dry soda sprinkled on a damp cloth. Afterwards, rinse with water.
- It can also absorb the odor in your refrigerator. Put it in an open container, and remember to stir and turn it over from time to time. You can replace it after about 2 months.
- It's totally safe to use it to clean the toilet, the bathtub, the sink.

- You can even use it to clean your face! Just sprinkle a small amount into your hands and put some water to make a paste then apply to your face. It will leave your face feeling very clean.
